Barely days after announcing our writing event, How to get your First Novel Published, tickets were sold out. We never knew so many Grazia readers wanted to launch their writing career off the ground! Thanks to our partners, the Orange Fiction Prize, this incredible event is here to help make it happen.
On Monday 28th May at the Southbank Centre (www.southbankcentre.co.uk), best-selling author and Orange Prize co-founder Kate Mosse will chair discussion with fellow best-selling writer Rosamound Lupton about the best ways to get published. Rosamund will divulge her creative inspiration and how she finally got the novel she had been writing for five years published. Her 2010 debut, ‘Sister’ sold over half a million copies and was featured on Richard and Judy’s Book Club. Then, Kate will chair a chat with a panel of experts including Rosamund, Felicity Blunt, a literary agent for leading agent Curtis Brown and Candida Lacey, CEO / MD of publisher, Myriad Editions. This is your chance to grill the experts for the best advice from the publishing business.
No matter how experiences you are, any wishful writers will benefit from this event. There’s a reason it sold out so quickly, you know.
