Episode Six: Team Grazia go shopping

Wow, we can't believe our week making the magazine live from Westfield is over. We're back in our Covent Garden offices with the issue sitting in our hands right now (it hits shelves tomorrow of course) and it's almost like the whole thing's been a surreal dream. We did a live fashion shoot in the central atrium of the shopping centre, went StyleHunting, met loads of you lot at styling and beauty events with everyone from GAP to Mulberry and Biotherm - oh, and got the issue to press on time too. So we figured we deserved to go shopping on Friday. We were surrounded by some of the best. And frustrated we couldn't do it before. So here's the last episode of the Grazia Live at Westfield soap opera. Next stop New York... or something!

PS - If you've missed the rest of the week's adventures at Westfield watch episodes one, two, three, four and five. It's Grazia TV!

  • I'm sorry, but has everyone lost there complete marbles.Another air conditioned shopping centre, great!
As a nation we are becoming more obsessed with mass consumerism, then, getting all stressed because the country is in crisis with people loosing there jobs left right and centre. We lived in Spain for three years, when we came back to britain four years ago, I predicted that the country would end up in a terrible mess, due to the over saturation of places like Westfield, Tesco, Sainsbury. We should maybe look at out European cousins who seem to have a sense of style and chic, less is more.We have to stop and question where are all the mass produced items being made and at what cost to other humans.I'm sorry Grazia if this sounds negative but I'm a great believer in quality before quantity. We as readers and consumers have to become more savvy, Westfield will put small traders out of business, the small gorgeous Boutiques will disappear because of high rents. Its time us Brits started supporting the smaller independent stores, as Westfield have destroyed many a business.
