Where all the hot men go…

10 June 2011

Far be it for Grazia Daily to suggest following a celeb across the channel, but frankly – where Jared Leto goes, we are willing to follow. It helps, of course, that Leto is just back from Paris, where he was promoting his new single with band ‘30 Seconds to Mars’, as well as generally looking hot and rocky, and popping to super boutique Colette with a bunch of equally attractive boys.

Paris is, of course, the most fash-tastic of all cities, with its plethora of amazing stores like Kabuki and Les Ateliers de Paris, as well as vintage shopping par excellence and of COURSE the legendary Faubourg Saint-Honoré district, which houses the designer homes of labels like Versace, Christian Dior, Hermès, Yves Saint Laurent and Chloe.

Accommodation-wise, there are a of amazing options –like the elegant Hotel Daniel, for instance (pic above), which fuses iconic French Toile de Jouy wallpaper with modern furnishings, or the Hotel Notre Dame (image below) which has a view of the cathedral as well as an awe-inspiring interior, with individually styled rooms designed by Christian Lacroix.

Food-wise, there are more options than you could possibly attempt to indulge in, from the delicious Senderens, owned by Michelin-star winning Alain Senderens and designed by Noé Duchaufour Lawrance who also designed London’s Sketch, to the Café de Flore, situated on the corner of  Boulevard Saint-Germain and the Rue St. Benoit, and famed for being THE hang out for everyone from Jean-Paul Sartre to Simone de Beauvoir.

Of course, if planning your own trip sounds like too much of head-spin, you could always opt for a carefully selected package like the one offered by the Grazia Travel Club (look good, right) or, of course you could just turn up and see where Paris leads you...
