HOW TO DO LONDON LIKE ANNA WINTOUR!

So London Fashion Week is in full swing, but where are the Fash Pack going to stay in the capital? Well, no prizes for guessing where American Vogue editor Anna Wintour will be. She always resides at Claridges (www.claridges.co.uk), the five star Mayfair Art Deco jewel. But for those who crave something brand spanking new, the W in Leicester Square (www.wlondon.co.uk), which opened on Valentine’s Day is the place to be, situated right next to Soho, it will be the choice for those who like a spot of after show partying.  Otherwise, expect to bump into a lot of fashionistas at Number One Aldwich, (www.campbellgrayhotels.com), conveniently located for the catwalks at Somerset House  - its Lobby Bar is always a chic starting point for fashionistas out on the town.  And for those who want their hotel to be near the designer boutiques of Knightsbridge, the Mandarin Oriental is a perfect choice (www.mandarinoriental.com/london). Not only is Harvey Nicks less than a minute’s walk away (OK, two in heels), but it’s home to the most talked about restaurant of the moment, Heston Blumenthal’s Dinner, where the Pack can pick their way though a variety of weird and wonderful dishes including meat fruit, salmagundi and hay-smoked mackerel - yum!
