Kate Moss to sing for Simon Cowell!

Are Kate Moss and Lily Allen sharing lifestyle tips? Lily’s dramatic weight loss is allegedly all down to Kate diet tips (champagne, pineapple and cigs), now the party-loving super model is following in her BFFs footsteps and taking to the mic, to sing at Simon Cowell’s 50^th birthday party. She planned her performance as a surprise for the birthday boy, who has invited 400 celebrity friends to a black tie bash in October. Don’t mean to burst your bubble Kate, but we think he might know… (or he will be lunchtime. There’re no secrets in celebland). Of course, Kate has dabbled in pop stardom before, singing backing vocals for a Primal Scream track, taking to the stage with ex-beau Pete Doherty and appearing in the White Stripes music video (she had no lines but she sure could pole dance). We don’t hear Kate speak that often, but if her f-letter outburst at the GQ awards was anything to go by (less super model, more fish wife) we don’t have high hopes for her singing voice. With pop royalty Kylie and Leona Lewis expected to attend Cowell’s festivities, we suggest Kate sticks to what she does best (turning up in the most glamorous frock and being the last party guest standing) and leave the singing to the professionals.
