Style Hunter: cheerful chinos!

We've been more than excited about the slim-cut chinos from Gap in this week's Grazia Fashion Charts, but after spotting Alex Pook, 25, in her Topshop ones, we just can't decide which way to go. She's got her chino styling spot on – turn-ups, flat sandals (H&M) and a slinky little top from Miss Selfridge balance out the masculine slacks. Those supersize sunnies from Primark are pretty covetable too. But what do you like about this outfit? The most style-savvy comments may be printed in Grazia magazine. Check out our other style hunted ladies here.

  • Chinos do look so much more summery than jeans. And the rolled up hem is perfect for showing off those great glads.

  • I'm loving this and I'm all for the return of trousers. Its about time as they have been pretty off-trend for about a gazillion years.
And Alex reminds me of how great trousers are. She's looks fantastic, all summery and relaxed and I like the way the belt pulls it all together. Just brilliant!

  • Another black bag in a summery shot... gah! Love the chinos and the little roll ups. Not completely keen on the colour of those sandals. But essentially a nice breezy look (without the bag of doom).

  • This is the ultimate Summer look! Fresh and effortlessly modern. One does not really need much to look cool in the heat. Love the sandals and the sunnies in those divine brown colours. The hottest season is officially here!

  • The chinos are a great shape and team well with the glads, the top is simply cool and the dark bag looks pretty relaxed too, nothing wrong with it in my book!

  • Alex looks like a fashion-savvy model. I love the dainty one-shoulder top with the cool chinos. The glads are awesome and totally make this look pop. The sunnies rock. And I like the bag too with the detail on the handle! Supercute!!!

  • Love this look. Cool, chic and simple. The black bag is fine for me too, I have no strong objections to black bags in s/s - just what they're paired with and the style and this looks fine to me!
