5 Things We Loved From Victoria Beckham's Spring Summer 2014 Show

We've provided you with a live feed and exclusive backstage access, but what were the fashion results of Victoria Beckham's spring summer 2014 show? Here are the five things we loved instantly and see the full collection in the gallery below...

1. HAIRBANDS:

'I've worked with Victoria since her first show so we've been developing a look of her signature woman' says hair guru and long-time VB collaborator Guido. Well then, that seals the deal for S/S'14's most coveted (and easy peasy and cheap) extra.

2. EDIE CAMPBELL:

Girl is on a roll! After bagging a spot on the Alexander Wang runway, Brit beauty Edie took up the first walk on Victoria's catwalk. Could she star in a future campaign for VB? Ooh, we do hope so.

3. BOY MEETS GIRL TAILORING:

VB herself showed solidarity with the S/S'14 theme on her mainline runway by wearing mannish tailoring for her finale bow. The injection of loose shapes continues VB's more laid-back attack on fashion, supersizing for ease, without ever scrimping on the sex appeal. The collection was boy-meets-girl: a classic tale of sharp tailoing set against some feminine charms like ruffles (see point 5), fuschia pink and spaghetti straps.

4. THE ACCESSORIES:

Mules are gaining momentum across the board (and have been secretly in the shoe-world for the past few summers), with slip on closed-toe heels in nude, black or white taking up many of VB's outings when some simple flat sandals weren't in use. Her bag updates included the traingle patterm that could also been found on the clothing - the shapes haven't strayed too far from her classics, but surface detailing is a new one for VB.

5. FLIPPY HEMS:

Frills played a fun part in VB's show, trimming the hems of long vests and mini-skirts alike. Just the ticket for flirty summer days, non?
