Allow us to introduce our very best bits from yesterday’s Paris shows.
1. Chic-ly Does It
The Dries Van Noten girl has been given a head to toe chic-over this season. Along with patterned, tailored ensembles, the girls’ had a strong makeup look in the form of bold brows, porcelain skin and matte, nude lips (a trend to watch for next season just f.y.i). Hair meanwhile was swept back into a deep-side part in a retro-chic and really rather fabulous style. We love!
2. Go Go Goth!
Rather unsurprisingly goth-glamour was the order of the day at Gareth Pugh and the models looked ghost-like and eerie. Think plenty of hyper-real skin contouring, a generous dose of glossy illuminating and deep grey, sunken-effect smoky eyes. What are your thoughts?
3. Side Lines
The heavy side-parting seems to be somewhat a bit of a trend in Paris already. The Rochas version took on a sleek, slicked-down form with tonged, flowing waves in the lengths of the hair. To balance the look makeup was kept to a minimum. Another strong brow was noted – bold brows aren’t going away just yet ladies – and soft nude lips too. One that’s easy to try at home – hurray!

4. Pout perfection.
We do love a backstage beauty look by Charlotte Tilbury and yesterday’s Mugler version was no exception. The flawless skin, dove grey blended eyes and apricot pout had us racing to the MAC store post show to buy each and every one of the products used. Isn’t it lovely?
5. Hooray for H&M
Aside from being captivated by the star-studded model army backstage at H&M last night (think Arizona, Cara, Daphne, Isabeli, Liu and Lindsey to name but a few), we fell head over heel for the flawless natural skinfinish and glossy kicked out waves. Because, well, who wouldn’t?
