Milan Fashion Week is in full swing and whilst it isn't quite so hectic for Grazia Team Beauty, it does often throw up some of the best beauty looks of the season. That'll be down to shows like Gucci and Fendi and the flurry of hair and makeup maestros who've taken up residence in the fashion capital to create some epic looks. We've picked out top 5 for you...
1. Burgundy Beauties
At the Gucci show, it was all about a metallic red smokey eye with dewy skin and bleached brows. One of our faves, supermodel Karlie Kloss, looked might fine with this look which was created by Pat McGrath.
2. Mohawk Madness
At Fendi, hair hero Sam McKnight created a luxe mohican-style do on the girls which stole the show. “We’ve taken a punk, masculine toughness and made it light-hearted with a fox-fur Mohawk,” he explained. The fox fur clip-ons were all custom dyed for the girls and styled to match the shape of their heads. Wowza!
3. Just Gorgeous
We totally fell for the hair and makeup at the Just Cavalli show. The smouldering dark eye and full-on tresses were isnpired by a holiday Roberto has taken to Bhutan and James Pecis had a busy time making the models hair perfect. He set hair into figure of eight wavse with hot metal rods before clamping them with a flat iron. And voila, an OTT Shanghai style 1930's wave.
4. To The Max
The MaxMara girl has gone from SS13's washed out pale teen to a pastel-eyed beauty. The hair was kept grungey and a little dishevelled and the eyes were the focal point of the makeup look, using soft blue and maroon shades to lift and contour the area. A cool and modern take on the smokey eye perhaps...
5. Girly Meets Grunge
Always one of our favourites, the Alberta Ferretti show was a full-on girly gig on the makeup front whilst the hair off-set this with slicked back, messy texture. Matte skin and brushed brows mixed with soft blamed lips and a little bronze on the eye won the vote from us - finally something easy we can copy at home! And the hair gave the girls a little rock-y attitude.
