In spite of the grey skies looming over London Town this morning, team Grazia beauty were up and out early for a jam packed day of shows and we are thrilled to report that when it came to amazing beauty looks, by golly did they come in abundance! From oriental- inspired floating nail art at Sister by Sibling to some seriously incredible black gothic wigs at Mark Fast (complete with black-green vampire lips) today has been a non stop whirl of backstage beauty moments which we just cannot wait to share with you...
1. Floating nail art at Sister by Sibling
First up at Sister by Sibling was this stunning manicure courtesy of nail guru Katie Hughes for Butter London. We just love the freshness of this look and the cherry-blossom freshness of the pinky foundation base covering the nail. An uber chic look we cannot wait to try out.
2. Lavender grey eyes at Holly Fulton
Purple has been popping up everywhere for a while, but before today's show we have never seen this pretty hue looking quite so, well, pretty! Andrew Gallimore for Mac Cosmetics was backstage to create this look- his inspiration? Think 70s legend noosha fox for a seriously frosted, fleshy soft-focus eye. The gorgeous purple eyeshadow was Macs eyeshadow in parfait amour. Stock up now girls!
3. Candy cane-esque hair extensions at Ashish
Grazia fave Ali Pirzadeh was working some serious magic backstage to transform the girls into stripy-haired beauties. His secret? Plain hair extensions hand painted with different shades of l oreals hair chalks. Pretty cool, we think!
4. Detox kitchen goodies at Richard Nicoll
Running around between shows not only guarantees sore tootsies but also a very rumbly tummy so we were over the moon to find some delicious energy
boosting treats backstage at Richard Nicoll. Delicious quinoa and butternut squash salads were washed down with fresh green juices and crunchy oat flapjacks. Yum- thank you detox kitchen!
5. Viva Mexico nails at House of Holland
Last but by no means least were the stunning nails over at über cool House of holland. There's something about this look that we just love - and not just because it makes us want to drink tequila and eat guacamole... Each nail was printed with unique religious Mexican idols - Think dia de Los muertos with a seriously tropical, sophisticated sheen. We. Just. Love.
