If you can measure the success of a brand by the number of fashion industry followers dutifully wearing the label on the day of the runway show, then Kenzo is mega successful. But the thing is this: everybody is wearing it ALL.THE.TIME. In fact, throughout the past four weeks of fashion offerings, we’ve not spotted anything more than Kenzo's geo prints, tiger jumpers and slogan-emblazoned sweatshirts and caps. And it’s not just been fashion ed fans flashing their K-cred about, their wares have become celebrity style-status makers, too. Trusted trend-setter, Rihanna takes the crown for most Kenzo moments. So in just three seasons under the creative prowess of Opening Ceremony founders (and total arbiters of coolness) Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, Kenzo is most defs the popular kid at school.

Naturally then, the FROW was Kenzo’d up to the max. A favourite? M.I.A. tacking the duo’s liberal texture and print mash-up. In addition to the non-stop brand-spotting we enjoyed, the show experience was a blast, too. Set in a Judo arena waaaay outta central Paris, we battled through the pre-show scrum to find a super-huge screen that burst to life with the most vibrant digital prints, jungle scenes and animals. Trippy, but totally reflective of the wildly brilliant patterns these two were also sending down the runway. As well as the little animal biscuits gifted to each attendee, we liked lots of other things about this spring/summer 2013 show…
Off-the-shoulder safari: The dichotomy of saucy shoulder-exposing dresses or blouse in utility-wear was a new one for us. And well, we always enjoy khaki come summertime.
Super sandals: A little bit sporty in shape, a little tribal with embellished beading and animal stripes, a lot gorgeous.
Cyber-leopard: Just when we thought animalier was so over, out comes a feisty blown-up multi-coloured incarnation from Kenzo. We especially liked it layered up one leopard upon another in the turquoise/orange.
Savage jewellery: Delfina Delettrez has designed jewellery for the brand for the second time and her panther paw torques will be worth getting your claws into.
Tiger update: The tiger sweatshirt gets an update from AW12 with a graphically camouflaged version and some jewel embellishment. We want already!
