This weekend’s backstage beauty teams stirred things up with a whole host of high-impact looks. Allow us to introduce the biggest and best trends emerging from Mllan Fashion Week...

In a busy backstage area at Fendi face-painter Peter Philips used teal, cobalt, orange and tan neoprene swatches taken from the collection to line model’s lower lashes. “It was a bathing suit,” Philips told us backstage. And don’t even get us started on Karl Lagerfeld’s embellished headbands which perched perfectly upon session stylist Sam McKnight’s “sharp, aerodynamic” up-dos. Divine, right?
