You've been glued to our live stream of London Fashion Week shows and we'll be bringing you the latest reports direct from the front row as well as all the beauty scoop from backstage. So what did we love at Day One of the extravaganza? Here's what...
1. Orla Kiely goes Twenties-tastic
Orla Kiely's Autumn Winter 2012 collection was set in an 1920s tearoom, decorated with wallpaper and the designer's signature furnishings. The clothes were inspired by James Clavell's film To Sir With Love so models glided around the dance floor wearing retro prints on tea dresses with gold dancing shoe and lurex socks. Take us to the '20s! We want to come with you!
2. Emilia Wickstead's crop tops
The winter crop top is on the catwalk! After two seasons of it hanging around and having seen Emilia's collection today, we are now ready to embrace the trend Emilia Wickstead style, paired with a brocade puffy maxi skirt. We loved the New York-esque, polished look, complete with elbow length gloves and smart tailoring. Read our full report here.
3. Preen shoes for Aldo Rise
We were treated to the first sneak peak of the brand new Preen for Aldo Rise collaboration today. After the fabulous footwear launched last month, we couldn't wait for the next installment - and at last, they've arrived. What beauties!
4. Rihanna rumours
The fash pack was buzzing with news that a touch of diva could be coming to LFW in the form of RIHANNA. Is she in town to catch Henry Holland's show seeing as they're working on a new show together? Or might she be spotted rocking a trench at Burberry? She's pals with Topshop’s Sir Philip Green, so perhaps it's the Unique she'll be popping into. The saucy songstress is scheduled to perform next week at the BRIT Awards so here's hoping she'll fit in a few front rows while in our fair city.
5. Grazia's swanky vehicle
Don't hate us, but in order to preserve our poor, poor feet, we're being whisked around in this personalised Range Rover Autobiography all week long. And flounce.
