Inflatable animals, over-sized ice creams and pastel hair can mean only one thing: it's Mulberry time! Quintessential English roses were whipped up into Sixties seaside sirens with candy-coloured extensions placed into towering Bardot-inspired beehives. Yep, the brand is going British seaside chic for S/S '12.
These girls are on a staycation to Brighton pier - after having a dip in the sea, they pull on their Mulberry waterproof cover-ups. The skin is made dewy with Vaseline and the mascara is chunky, as if it's been messed up by the sea-soaking. But she's still got Mulberry gorgeous hair that's as colourful as candy floss this season. Sam McKnight created a dry, sea salt texture with Frederick Fekkai Marine Sea Spray which he dried in using a hairdryer. In an ideal world, we'd all like to look this good beside the seaside...
