Guido has been a backstage staple for as long as we can remember. And if you've been creating catwalk styles as long as Guido has (that's nearly 20 years, folks), it must be flattering when the designer's hair reference is a pile of hair pictures you've created over your career.
Yes, you've guessed it, the hair inspiration at Marc by Marc Jacobs hair inspiration for S/S '12 was a celebration of Guido's work, particularly in the 90's. Modestly mentioned at the end of Guido's backstage brief, he went on to explain that he was using the Goodys Barrette silver clips to secure a looped spiky chignon (which he'll be using again at different show tomorrow). The scraped back sleek style was a nod to the more grown up and sophisticated Marc by Marc girl.
Dick Page added to the overall fresher look with a pink, balmy lip and glossy, youthful eyes. Pretty powerful!
