It's that sixties show at Costume National, with nods to Twiggy who made black eyeliner and nude lips the trend du jour. With an eye socket spanning black liner, finished with a slick of clear MAC Pro Longwear lip gloss to mirror the vinyl fabrics in the collection, it was sixties a go-go.
The hair was inspired by the same era. Paul Hanlon sculpted a 2 inch wide low side parting (again, very Twiggy) and used gel and a stencil to create a strip along the parting before pulling it into a low ponytail (these ponies are becoming a serious habit for A/W '11). The finishing touch came with a piece of vinyl fabric being wrapped around the hair, tying together the sixties inspired look in one flick of a pony.
