PFW S/S ‘11 Report: Isabel Marant

02 October 2010

Isabel Marant has been having a major moment in the fashion spotlight for the past few seasons both with the A-list and the fash pack so we were intrigued to see what the French designer would do to maintain her cult following. Whilst Marant's S/S '11 collection boasts some gorgeous separates that any girl with a keen fashion eye would love to own (think flecked sweaters and wide striped pastel jersey) this collection was full of the signature styles that Isabel is known for, rather than anything more exotic for spectators to sink their teeth into. Trademark canvas boots came in navy this time, sharp-shouldered jackets in Spring-appropriate cream and ditsy floral flippy skirts and dresses will keep Isabel's fan base kitted out. Marant also showed a sportier side with sexy rugby shirt dresses decorated with metting hem details, hooded bomber jackets and string tops which will no doubt be her next best sellers.
