MFW S/S '11 Beauty Report: Moschino

26 September 2010

At Moschino, we saw the return of the Amazonian dusty matte skin, which we saw at House of Holland during LFW, so terracotta shades were used to give a dull, flat, contoured finish to the skin. Lucia Pieroni used M.A.C Pro Clove blusher and Rule eye shadow swept over eyes, cheeks and temples to give a beautiful burnt tan colour to the face. Yep, there is definitely a terracotta trend emerging as one of S/S '11's key colours...

‘The clothes are bonkers,’ master of hair-monies Eugene Souleiman told Grazia Daily as we chatted about the look backstage. ‘But they’re revisiting Moschino classics so I wanted the hair to add to the collection’.  Playing with two textures, wet and dry, the bird’s nest buns sat high on top of smooth, gelled hair and were finished with polka dot headbands.
