The key to the "Puritanical Beauties" look today at Margaret Howell rested on pure, effortless and simple beauty. The model's skin was massaged with MAC's care blend essential oils, for 'super-duper natural skin' make-up artist Sam Bryant told us. Barely a scrap of make-up was used, just a wash of MAC cream blush in Lilicent and Laid Bare mixed together and applied on the bridge of the nose and cheeks for a subtle flush. If the girls looked too young (it's a hard life!) Ebony kohl pencil and mascara were applied at just the roots, defining the eye, yet so subtly it was barely noticeable that the models were wearing it. Handling hair was Margaret Howell regular Neil Moodie who created 'the perfectly positioned chignon', which, if you're interested, sits between the nape of the neck and the base of your skull! Pure and simple good quality beauty which let the collection take the lime light.
