Following their return to London Fashion Week last season, S/S '11 sees Daks take a modern and minimalist journey through India. Featuring a palette of neutrals, highlighted with mustard yellow, the global-traveller-style busy prints and embellishment detailing that we've come to expect from other designers for S/S were nowhere to be seen. Instead, there were block-coloured silk oversized maxi tunics, or crisp mannish white cotton culottes. Midi-height wedge cork sandals and minimalist leather satchels worn accross the body made globe-trotting look fuss-free. Grey stone knitted hot-pants were cute (albeit impractical). Top knots and ballerina headbands added an much-needed girly touch to a collection that tended to blur the lines between menswear and womenswear.
Check out our 5 picks from the show below...
1. Leather tote bags
2. Crisp white bib-fronted maxi shirt-dress
3. Yellow pleated maxi tunic

All in all Daks neo-traveller gets a Grazia Daily thumbs up!
