As New York Fashion Week comes to a close, there was a touch of London in the air as Jeremy Scott's cartoon girls walked the catwalk. 'The look is inspired by Marilyn Monroe meets Debbie Harry' said make-up artist extraordinaire Val Garland. Brows were taken away with foundation - then drawn back in with neat, fine pencil strokes for each individual hair, and shaped into an exaggerated arch. Mouths were airbrushed with a strongly-pigmented red liquid for a'stonking red lip'. Meanwhile, hair was kept in a 'powdered Marie Antoinette set' as if the models had left their curls pinned in before a night out. Even Kanye West couldn't resist making a brief appearance backstage to check out the looks before the show!
