AW10 PFW Report: Chloe

10 March 2010

London native Hannah MacGibbon has really hit her stride at Chloe; her Fall 2010 outing disclosed a confident collection exuding a laid back, cool 70s vibe.

These were clean, quietly luxurious clothes: plain front high-waisted camel trousers paired with simple sweaters or silk pussy bow blouses, a sleeveless trapeze wool dress, hipster A-line skirts and long fluid jersey dresses. The palette? Classic Chloe of course – camel, oatmeal, tan and chambray.

On the coat front MacGibbon sent out a-line toffee coloured capes, oversized hooded coats and rather masculine herringbone tweed styles with padded shoulders. Perfect, might we add, for Paris’ sub zero temperatures (-5 the last time we checked!)

After dark, the Chloe girl can choose from a glittering bronze lame twinset or embrace embroidered velevet and denim slim trousers with matador style jackets.
