MFW Beauty Report: DSquared

Look: The inspiration comes from 80's Helmut Newton pictures, Robert Palmer, and strong, tough women who are still feminine.  This translates as a dark eye and a red lip.

Gordon Espinet for MAC gave girls a strong graphic eye, which starts as a black line blended and elongated out into the temple with a matte grey eyeshadow, with a blue sparkling eyshadow over the top!

Crystal Avalanche, a blue and white highlighter, was brushed through the brows while the skin kept powder matte. Very 80's!

'I blended cherry lip pencil, a blue red with a new orange red lipstick which creates a true red,' Gordon told us.

To compliment the power make-up, Sam McKnight's tight, sleeked back, wet-look hair which blended into soft, straightened, ‘swingy’ hair at the back. Yep, the girls mean business backstage at DSquared this morning, especially with those long, rad nails. Model power!
