LFW AW10 report: Jaeger

23 February 2010

Possibly the most over subscribed show of the week - Jaeger fans turned out in their droves for the AW10 show earlier today. The Saturdays, Erin O'Connor, Peaches Geldof and Lara Bohinc were among the celebrities that filled the eclectic front row. So what was it all about I hear you asking? Well if you missed the show streamed live on the Jaeger website and were left gagging for more after we gave you a sneak preview of the collection earlier today - then here's the deal. Leather panelling, suede, shearling and the softest cashmere were the foundations of a collection that could take you from day to night or from an urban city life to the quiet countryside. Now check out the 5 things we loved from the show...

 1. The endless selection of platform ankle boots and lace up shoes in an array of colours from tan leather, patent black and white shearling and navy suede  with equestrian gold bucklet detailing - the result of a highly successful collaboration with shoe designer Micheal Lewis.
2. The mohair hooded navy duffle cape (or so we've named it) with black trim - what we will be wearing to wrap up warm next winter.

3.The black cord gathered waist harems with gold zip detailing.

4. The model's messy hair casually tucked in the collars of the jackets - sooo what we will all be doing next winter.

5. A fabric championed by Jaeger in the 1900s and now part of the brand's heritage, the camel hair skirt suit with black patent lapels isn't just for doing battle in the boardroom!
