LFW AW10 Report: Margaret Howell

Perched on the benches in the Margaret Howell Wigmore Street store, it was a full house, squished Fashion Eds (including American Vogue reps) bloggers, and two Alexas - one girl and one bag - sat patiently waiting on the FROW for Howell's show to begin. And the queen of wholesome Brit cool didn't disappoint, opening with a perfect camel duffle coat.

Highlights included lush velvet separates which were layered with more casual pieces; oversized shirt dresses and a fabulous tartan skirt, not forgetting one gorgeous shearling coat and some brilliant brogues and ankle boots which were phone-snapped by Alexa Chung who raved "I f***ing love them!" that goes for us too! Go, Margaret.
