LFW AW10 Report: Sass and Bide

20 February 2010

Sass and Bide was the final show of London Fashion Week's first day and the Aussie design duo delivered a lively and empowering pick me up for the end of a hectic day. They continued from where they left off for SS10, with their signature blend of bohemia and fierce. Hardwear in gold, perspex and mirror sat alongside slinky maxi jersey tube dresses, macrame cream frocks and fantastic low slung silk wide leg trousers. The girls found inspiration close to home, with natural elements from Sydney's flora and fauna adding to their laid back beachy vibe. Remember their collections remains fairly seasonless due to the jealousy inducing weather they enjoy over in Oz. Nonetheless we enjoyed it muchly,  here's our top five things about the show...

1. Gold metal horn clutch bag.
2. Feather and mirror neck piece. The new word in statement necklaces we think!
3. The matador style jackets.
4. Designers Heidi and Sarah Jane taking the time to name each look. Our faves? 'Love for sale bodysuit' and 'how deep is the ocean dress'
5. The Café Del Mar style music sliced with classical had us chilled out in seconds!
