Last but not least, Pucci was the last show of the day. One of the smallest and hottest backstage areas I’ve seen, it was a quick in and out mission. Lisa Butler for MAC, wanted to take the look ‘another step from last season’ where there was practically no make up. So, this time around, as it’s summer, and because there was a lot of gold detail in the collection, Lisa added gold to the eyes ‘like a bit of jewellery, like an earring which you see when the girls blink,’ Lisa told us. There was no base but the cheeks were warmed up with a darker (by two shades) foundation than the model’s skin, colour matching the colour from the collar bone shadow on the model’s shoulders. On the lips; MAC’s Flox lipstick, super light and natural. Hair by Luigi was ‘very glam, sunny beachy hair. It’s sexy, dried in the sun still looking luxury’. The quality of the hair was almost sunburnt. With one inch curling tongs, hair was loosely waved with the ends left straight and then brushed out. Basically the hair we’d all want to wear on the beach!
