LFW show report: Josh Goot

22 September 2009

As we piled into the derelict open space that is the NCP car park in London's Soho we were braced for a tough, edgy collection. Instead, we were hit with abstract geometric prints in a ray of colour popping hues. The first eye catching looks that soared down the concrete catwalk were simply cut dresses allowing all the prints to do the talking. Then came body-con dresses where Goot's eye catching prints were broken up by jumbo piping. And so the collection progressed to include a fresh take on polka dots, on silk tees and beautifully cut slim trousers. Josh's clever use of prints didn't stop there, the finale looks included unique colour to colour fade on jackets, skirts and shirt cuffs. Not forgetting the futuristic heels and sleek sunnies by AM Eyewear. Goot job!
