Jeremy Scott takes Mickey

09 March 2009

The Jeremy Scott show was always going to be the fun in Paris. The American designer always picks a theme, whether it be typical USA food leading to burger dresses, or truck tracks that will leave their imprint on trousers and models' faces, he takes a story and runs with it. This season it was something equally American - Mickey Mouse. 'Hey Mickey' blasted over the catwalk which had Beth Ditto, Peaches, Kanye and every Parisian cool kid with a penchant for Adidas, bouncing in the front row. The collection was a fun as expected - skirts made out of MM ears, dresses made from MM gloves, corsets covered in bright buttons. Jeremy lapped up the applause, wolf whistles and hollers and immediately posed with Kanye West and Amber Rose for the photographers. Forever the show man.
