If there's one man determined to declare war on the credit crunch, it's Roberto Cavalli. Last night he celebrated the launch of the Cavalli credit card with a private dinner attend by fashion editors, celebrities and even British Royals. And his A/W '09 show this morning had a similarly cavalier theme. He sent a collection of asymmetric miniskirts decorated with silver rivets down the catwalk on models he'd imbued with serious attitude - in part, no doubt, thanks to the thigh-high boot-leggings. Saying that, the warrior-like mood was lightened periodically by body-skimming full-length sheer dresses over leotards and beautiful watery silk print dresses. Elizabeth Hurley nodded along on the front row with approval...
LOOKS WE LOVED:
The asymmetric mini dress.

Really long blue/black gown.

A short-sleeved jacket worn with long studded gloves and rivet skirt.

Lovely watery silk print tunic dress.
