Alberta Ferretti delivered clothes that will keep her customers and number crunchers happy for her A/W 09 show. There were plenty of pretty day dresses, great coats and head-turning evening wear - the stuff she's famous for. The show opened with some amazing colour combinations: Kingfisher blue, rust and olive or magenta, red and jade green. A breath of fresh air after all the black and muted colours we've been seeing. Ferretti also played with mixing texture - an emerging trend it seems - with lace, lame and chiffon thrown together. It totally worked.
