Moschino Cheap & Chic was a serious girl fest. Full frilled dresses, billowed back coats, and feminine curves were balanced with ballooning sleeves and bows. Prints were mostly a photo montage of the recurring theme of waterfall frills, but the other big story was the half and half look. Half-frilled skirts balanced with pencil frills on one side and straight fabric on the other, shoes with strappy sandals on one side and ankle boots on the other. And it might sound weird, but it kinda worked. Amber Le Bon, sitting front row at her first big Milan fashion show and the online editor of Moschino.com, was beside herself with excitement.
