Coming from the frenzy of back-to-back shows, last night backstage at the Paul Smith A/W ’09 show felt like another world. The suite behind Claridges Ballroom was incredibly glamorous, regal and quintessentially British – Paul even offered us a cuppa! And despite mood boards propped up against the fireplaces and clothes strewn over rails, it was probably the calmest pre-show backstage area we think we've ever seen. ‘Well, I've had some practice,' Paul joked as he sat down with us for a chat about his new collection just 10 minutes before it was due to hit the catwalk.
