Westwood's star studded catwalk

The arena setting for Vivienne Westwood's show last night was perfect considering the amount of cameras, celebrities, and die-hard Viv fans all squeezing in to see her latest offering. Kanye West was blinded by hundreds of cameras (as were we sitting behind him) until security rescued him. David Walliams(!) chatted with Erin O'Connor, while elsewhere new fans Nicola Girls Aloud, Leah Wood and Jaime Winstone attracted the paps. As for the show it was typical Vivienne Westwood - tartan, harems, pirate boots, bondage detailing, orbs, and an element of the naughty schoolkid (the invite was a report card) through blazers and over the knee socks. We were disappointed that Pammy Anderson didn't walk, but we made do with Jo Wood, Daisy Lowe and Alice Dellal.

FIVE LOOKS WE LOVED

1) School Blazers

2) Drapey tailoring and over the knee boots

3) Orange pea coat

4) Harem trousers and school knits

5) Chunky knits over mini skirts

  • I think we should all stand up and salute Vivienne Westwood for using real women on her runways! Great to see after the past few weeks of weight related nonsence where Jessica Simpson, Gemma Arterton and even Heidi Klum have been called fat!!
Amamzing collection as always, I have fallen in LOVE with Alice's look!!!! Hareem pants are my new fashion obsession- Id never have though to team them with high boots, WOW!!
