We've all been desperate to see the Basso and Brooke show since Tuesday , when we gave you a sneaky peek at their Japanese inspired S/S09 fashion sketches and fabric designs . And it was worth the wait. The clever boy's combination of gazumpingly confusing prints (plus a digi print backdrop that the models walked out from) reminded us of a magic eye painting, which instantly snared the audiences' gaze before we even noticed their move away from the past season's voluminous puffy shapes into skinny suits, simple shift dresses, obi wrapped jumpsuits and kimono tops all constructed with subtle origami folds here and there. And when we finally managed to draw our eyes away from the magic eye prints, we were equally transfixed by the crazy platform shoes with carved heels by Raouda Assaf! Yum!
