Kate Middleton's McQueen knit dress: Discuss

04 July 2011

OOh, now THIS is different, Grazia Daily readers: Kate Middleton has moved awaaaay from the shifts to don more McQueen - this time, a cable knit Alexander McQueen dress, which features a pussy bow and cricket style trim (a style which eagle-eyed readers like @peppers have noted is actually from 2006). The latest stop on Kate and Prince William's tour of Canada is Prince Edward Island, the setting for Anne of Green Gables (reportedly K-Mid's favourite book) where to celebrate, some of the locals wore period costume. As, it could be suggested, did Kate.

Pairing the dress with her favourite navy Prada shoes, Kate also debuted a super-flicky pony tail (haven't seen that before either) whilst William wore the suit he appears to have worn every day for the past week.

So what do we think, people: Middy's McQueen knit-dress + pony tail = yay or nay?
