If 90s reunion tours are your bag (we went to The Big Reunion, and it was an experience to say the least), then dust off your platform trainers and start crooning "I want it that waaaaaaay" - because the Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys are reuniting for a tour! Well, they're rumoured to be, according to BSB-er AJ McLean.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, the goateed-one revealed:

‘The Spice Girls tour has been this idea bounding around for the past year and a half and it’s something we’re still talking about."

But here to rain on our 90s pop reunion parade is The Daily Star, who depressingly claimed the girls are only considering the move in the US, and are teaming up with the band because they don't think they can sell out tour venues on their own. THAT'S A LIE DAILY STAR AND YOU KNOW IT.

‘They were big but their success didn’t last quite as long," reports the paper. "So teaming with another big act is a way of booking bigger venues."

Of course, neither bands have confirmed this tour is happening, but it hasn't stopped us from imaging the genius mash-ups the Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys could recreate.

Emma Bunton and Geri have spoken out about the rumours, saying "nothing is set in stone" and "nothing's happening" - so until something actually does get confirmed console yourself with this list of the top 10 Spice World moments.

Geri Halliwell has spoke out about those Spice Girls rumours that got us so excited last month. You know, the ones that suggested the band were to reform in 2016 for a 20 year anniversary reunion tour. Without Victoria Beckham.

But it's been a bit confusing, with none of the girls really sounding that up for it - or confirming anything after The Sun reported it was definitely going to happen. Emma Bunton said "If anything happens and it's concrete, and we decide on something, I will let you know, but nothing's happening at the moment."

And now, speaking to *The Sun *herself, Geri revealed it really was just an idea at the moment: "Let's see what happens. I am always flattered by the support myself and the other Spice Girls receive from the public. We are still as close and constantly chatting on the phone with one another.”

She added:

"But nothing is set in stone. There's always speculation about the Spice Girls getting back together. Let's just see what happens. Life is good and I'm happy".

Ugh, Geri that is NOT what we wanted to hear! Well, we're glad she's happy, and that they are all still on the phone and chatting to each other, but what we really want is an actual update on the tour!

Oh well, we'll just have to keep ourselves happy with this list of the top 10 Spice World moments.

Rumour alert - could the Spice Girls be reforming without Victoria Beckham? Fans were sent into a spin this morning after reports emerged suggesting they would be reuniting again to go on tour.

The Sun reports that Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Mel B will re-form for an international tour next year - which will be the 20th anniversary of the band's debut single Wannabe.

Since the band split in 2001, they have reformed several times - for a money-spinning tour in 2007 (which they claimed would be the band's final outing), for the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics, and for the launch of short-lived stage musical Viva Forever. And VB not taking part in a fifth reunion would make sense - after all, she's got a fashion empire to manage.

But before you whip out your platform shoes and start chanting Zig-a-zig-ah at anyone who walks past your desk, Emma Bunton has denied the rumours. Speaking on* Heart* radio, she revealed: "If anything happens and it's concrete, and we decide on something, I will let you know, but nothing's happening at the moment."

Victoria Beckham also hinted the rumours weren't true by posting a Spice Girls-related #ThrowbackThursday post last night, captioned "I love my Spice Girls".

So what's really going on? We'll have to wait and see - until then, we'll just enjoy perusing gifs of Victoria Beckham in her Posh Spice heyday.
