Juggling a full-time job and a decent social life isn't exactly conducive to a regualar bed time. Though we do know that making time for one to ensure you get the recommended 7-9 hours of shut eye can help keep your body clock in check and equate to keeping you feeling better rested. But apparently there's an optimum time to hit the sack.

According to a new study by George Homes, which polled 1,000 people on their sleeping habits ahead of the 'hibernation' months, the 'ideal' bedtime is 10:37pm, if you want to feel bright-eyed and ready to go the next day.

It also suggests that two goose feather pillows, a 13.5 tog duvet and a pair of cotton pajamas are also most conducive to a good night's sleep during the cold snap.
