As much as we love texting a cat emoji at the end of a sentence, and possibly overuse the embarrassed face emoji, sometimes they just aren’t quite enough. And this is why we have turned to Bitmoji.

Bitmoji is a cute cartoon avatar/emoji that looks spookily like you. Already we have a lot of time for this idea, but wait until you see them in action. When a quick text saying you’re running late won’t suffice, just whizz over a cute cartoon of you literally running and you’ll be forgiven in a heartbeat. Trust us. We’ve tried it and it works.

And now that Bitmoji Fashion has been launched, there is no excuse for your avatar to sport anything but head-to-toe designer. Your lucky mini-me has the choice between Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein, McQueen and more. And even better, after the initial launch, which took place last week, new updated outfits will appear linked to ‘movies, TV shows, sports, times of the year and key trends in pop culture.’ This really is the gift that keeps on giving.

And of course those A-listers are getting in on the act, with Victoria Beckham casually wishing us a good morning, Lena Dunham altering hers as often she alters her hair and Carson Daly with his pet pooch. And with this in mind, we challenged 5 members of Grazia HQ to each create their very own Bitmoji and here are the results…
