YOU TELL US: Are You A Trusting Person?

How trusting are you? That's what a new survey has been asking young people in Britain this week - and results may surpise you. The British Social Attitudes survey found that overall 47 per cent of people asked believed that other people would take advantage of them if they had the opportunity and one third of people are 'deeply suspicious' of other people, believing they would lie and cheat.

Interestingly, it also found that, over the last decade, the number of people under 35 who are distrusting of others has more than doubled - perhaps a repercussion of how accepting we are of others 'embellishing the truth' over social media.
