WATCH! Jamie Oliver's Cocktail Crew Make A Special Grazia Cocktail

30 July 2014 by

Ladies and gents, may we proudly introduce Yellow Is The New Black. You can forget your Mojitos and Caipirinhas because THIS is the most fashionable cocktail in town, and it's been especially created for us by the lovely Jamie Oliver and his fabulous and very talented team at Drinks Tube.

In case you didn't know Drinks Tube is Jamie's latest venture, a YouTube channel solely dedicated to drinks and how to make the best cocktails in town. All this week (28th July -1st August) they're celebrating Cocktail Request Week, which basically means you can send in a cocktail request and the team will pick their favourite suggestions, then create and upload videos throughout the day of how to make them.

To send some cocktail inspiration simply tweet your request and follow @drinkstube on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram using the #CocktailRequest hashtag.  Requests can be in the form of photos, ingredients or a brand new cocktail name.

Throughout the week there will be a variety of Drinks Tube experts grabbing the cocktail shaker – including Simone Caporale, all round drinks whizz, International Bartender of the Year, and creator of our special cocktail here.

Our request for Simone was to make us a yellow cocktail, inspired by the 'Grazia Yellow' that our magazine is famous for. Called 'Yellow Is the New Black' it is made with orange vodka, mango juice, coconut water, a shot of lemon and almond syrup. 'It's the 'most sexy fashionista drink you'll ever drink in your life,' says Simone, 'You drink this, you gonna be the next top model!'

Well that would be nice Simone, we'll drink to that. Infact on that promise, we're off the buy the ingredients pronto... Gisele, Kate, Naomi, we're coming to get you!

To send cocktail inspiration to the team simply tweet your request and follow @drinkstube on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram using the #CocktailRequest hashtag. Cheers!
