Need A Dish To Make Tonight? These Bonfire Burgers Are The Perfect Way To Round Off The Weekend

For sweet chilli onions:

¬ 1 medium sized onion (200g)
¬ Sweet chilli sauce (35g)
¬ Smokey BBQ sauce (20g)
¬ Vegetable oil (40g)

For the cheese rosti:

¬ Grated potato (150g)
¬ Grated mature cheddar cheese (50g)
¬ Salt and pepper

For the burger:

¬ GBK fresh six ounce burger x 1
¬ White floured bun x 4
¬ Little gem lettuce x 2
¬ Beef tomato x 1


¬ Place a roasting tray in a pre heated oven at 200 degrees. Slice your onions and mix in a bowl with the oil, sweet chilli sauce and smokey BBQ sauce. When the tray is hot, tip the onion mix onto it and spread thinly. Put the tray back into the oven and bake for approximately 20-25 minutes or until the onions are a deep golden brown.

¬ Squeeze the grated potato dry in a clean towel, put in a bowl and mix well with grated cheese, potato and salt and pepper. Form a large tablespoon of the mix into a thin disc and fry with a little vegetable oil on a medium heat until cooked and golden brown on both sides.

¬ Char grill or pan fry your GBK burger for 11-15 minutes and quick char grill or toast your little gem lettuce leaves and burger bun, then set them aside ready to assemble

¬ Build the burger. Layer the bun, little gem lettuce , sliced tomato, GBK burger, cheese rosti, sweet chilli onions and bun lid and then serve with crispy mini roast sweet potato
