It’s Cocktail O’Clock! Coconut Hot Toddy Anyone?

It's officially Christmas party week, so we’ve asked our friends at hip and happening blog Barchick to track down some of the UK’s best bars serving drinks to get you in the yuletide spirit, and we’ll be bringing you a few of them in the run up to the Big Day. This recipe today comes from SkyLounge, a lovely rooftop bar on the top of the DoubleTree in Hilton Hotel. The bar boasts 360 degree views over the Tower of London, Tower Bridge and the Shard – and it’s a brilliant meeting place both summer or in winter, snuggled under the heaters. There’s the full range of beers, wines and spirits, as well as cocktails, but what we’re really loving right now is their brilliant hot toddy menu, especially this winter-warming Coconut Chai. How To Make Skylounge's Coconut Chai Hot Toddy

Pour 50ml Kraken Spiced Rum and 60ml light coconut milk into a mug. Add 2tbsps of light brown sugar and top with hot spiced chai tea. Garnish with a clove studded lemon wheel and cinnamon sticks and serve. Cheers!
