As part of Grazia’s super-fun and interactive LIVE project, one of the first jobs we tasked you faithful fashion lot with was to vote for your favourite outfit that Susie Lau – blogging-power-house of Style Bubble – should wear to the opening day of LFW. Susie confessed that she’d never usually allow anyone to dictate her fashion choices, but the options were in your hands, and she trusted you to make the right decision. But to be honest, all four outfits were as to be expected – bloomin’ marvellous and we doubt she’d be disappointed with the result….
Would it be a Christopher Kane new-season brocade dress wildly teamed up with cycling shorts and a very vintage kimono, or an eccentrically knitted jumper from new label Leutton Postle with a vintage Miu Miu skirt? Maybe the Louise Gray ultra-embellished number got your vote? Or did J.W. Anderson’s mixture of old season and new make the grade?
Drum roll please. THE WINNING LOOK IS…. LEUTTON POSTLE! Yes, with a whopping number of your votes, this newbie brand by Central St Martins MA graduates Jenny Postle and Sam Leutton (of which Susie has been championing since their inception) had a very good debut entrance into Somerset House yesterday. In between the madness of shows and appointments we caught up with Susie to see the look in action. She was very happy with your choice, but the poor love sprained her ankle at NYFW and it was pretty cold, so a coat and sensible shoes were essential! And well, being the famously creative dresser she is, we can’t blame her for making a few additions like that poppin’ Smythson bag. Top decision, guys!
And if you missed it the first time, watch Susie talking through her outfit ideas here and don't forget you can watch the shows live HERE!
