Marc has a pinboard called ‘¡Pinspirational!’ featuring ‘Marc Jacobs inspired’ images that he discovered through other Pinterest users. The board includes everything from nail art through to a sketch of a pink pig wearing MJ shorts and fishnets on the runway.

If there's one sure fire way to loose a couple of hours it's logging on to Pinterest. The image-sharing platform is jam packed full of inspiring visuals, from delicately iced cupcakes to vintage frocks with pearl button detailing. Whether you're planning a wedding, a party, some decorating or are just in need of a little wardrobe update, you could do worse than creating your own online mood board and getting input from your Pinterest followers and their own edits.

But we're not the only pin heads around here. Some of the world's most stylish women (and men) are addicted to board maintenance too. Take Nicole Richie for example who's got a Pinterest board for every room in the house, including one called 'Tee Pee', which as you've probably guessed is dedicated to the traditional tent style. The mother of two clearly uses her account with purpose as she was recently spotted posing in front of a tee pee in her back garden.

Lauren Conrad is another one to watch. She's been Pinterest mad for sometime now, but with a wedding on the cards expect plenty more editions to her 'wedding bells' board. You'll notice that the main theme of Lauren's Pinterest profile is the colour pink and as such it really is a girly haven with bicycles, balloons, cameras, candles, shoes and manicures all showcased in a bubble gum hue. Easy to see why The Hills star is is on 600k followers and counting.
