In this week's issue of Grazia, we bring you the best pieces in store now that have lasting power. Wear now AND later? Yes please. Pick up the new issue - out now - for our top tips, but for now meet your new flexible friend - the chiffon skirt. It works hard from 8am until you say stop, from a day in the office to a well-earned cocktail.
Diane Kruger and Miranda Kerr have given us a masterclass in keeping cool AND looking hot this week by opting for chiffon. Miranda had the chiffon in the city look covered when she took a stroll in New York yesterday with her cute-as-a-button son, Flynn. The model subtly showed off her leggy legs with a beautiful multi-coloured skirt from Topshop, proving once again that she has a soft spot for the high-street hero, not to mention a masterclass dresser.
Meanwhile, we were green with envy when we saw Diane Kruger arriving at The Bridge premiere in LA on Monday wearing a delicious floor-length dress by our very own Jonathan Saunders. It's the perfect way to keep your look easy breezy on sweltering summer evenings, but still look suitably fancy.
And let's not forget Kate Moss who also wowed in a sheer number last month. Mossy swooshed into her PA’s wedding in June sporting a bright and billowing chiffon dress and matching scarf, making for ideal wedding guest style.
It all reminds us of that iconic image of Princess Diana sporting a see-through skirt that marked her as a Princess with a difference and began her incredible influence on fashion. What a beauty.
Topshop's collection of chiffon maxi skirts, including Miranda Kerr's floaty find, are certainly inspiring with a wide selection of prints and a shorter panel that ensures they're sheer in all the right places. Check out our shopping picks in the gallery below and trust that we’ll be grabbing ours while the sun's still out!
