1. Napoli Top, Baukjen, £49

Moderns Sports is going to be a big trend for spring and it’s an easy one to work into your current wardrobe. I’ll be wearing the Napoli Top. This textured sweatshirt is great because it works with skinnies or a boyfriend and I’m all about versatility. [a target="_blank" href="">[/a]

2. Python-jacquard dress, Stella McCartney at Net-a-Porter, £865

Safari styling is also on the trend-watch list but the key for me is never to go overboard. This dress by Stella McCartney’s mainline works a beautiful snake print without making me feel as though I’m trekking through the jungle – nod to a trend but keep it understated, and you’ll win every time. 3. Coco heels, Sophia Webster, £295.00

While my clothing choices lean towards modern classics, I’m always wowed by a red-carpet-ready killer heel. New girl Sophia Webster designs beautiful shoes that I can’t help but be tempted by. These ice-blue satin pumps have a fresh spring feel and will dress up my Boyfriends beautifully. [a target="_blank" href="">[/a]

4. Ravenna leather jacket, Baukjen, £389

I truly believe that leather revolutionises a wardrobe. It’s also a great investment – it ages brilliantly and fashion’s love affair with it shows no sign of diminishing so there’s no one-season-wonder risk here. For spring, I’ll be treating myself to the Ravenna biker style in Sand for a lighter look. [a target="_blank" href="">[/a]

5. Wooden frames, Finlay & Co

New season, new sunglasses – that’s my motto. An instantly chic way to update your look, I’ll be investing in a pair of Finlay & Co’s wooden frames – great for those sun-bleached frosty mornings. We’ll be stocking them from March. [a target="_blank" href=""> [/a]

6. Hooded Printed Top, adidas by Stella McCartney, £72

Those New Year exercise resolutions can be a real cross to bear but with the right wardrobe, there’s a reason to run! I love Adidas by Stella McCartney and this top is great for chilly pre-and post-work sessions. [a target="_blank" href="">[/a]

7. Prima ballerina nail polish, Essie, $8.50

If in doubt, paint your nails. A light, creamy shade like Essie’s Prima Ballerina is a lovely way to strip things back while still feeling luxurious. [a target="_blank" href="">[/a]

8. The Boyfriend Jeans, Baukjen, £95

After the fuss of the party season I like to take things down a notch or two which means simple but chic basics. The Boyfriend Jeans by Baukjen are my go-to essential. [a target="_blank" href="">[/a]

9. Third Eye Cuff, By Boe, $8

A little treat goes a long way and a piece of beautifully fine By Boe jewellery looks great worn alone or stacked with other pieces for any occasion. [a target="_blank" href="">[/a]

10. The essential shirt, £69, Baukjen

The perfect pairing to the Boyfriends is a clean, crisp and easy-to-wear white shirt. Get the basics right and everything else falls into place. [a target="_blank" href="">[/a]

It's always a joy to find a brand new brand to watch and in 2014, our eyes are on Baukjen. The brand is named after its co-founder and Creative Design Director, Baukjen de Swaan Arons, who set it up with her husband to create chic timeless pieces with great fit and quality. The aesthetic is very paired back with clean, sharp lines - think COS with ane every day edit. The collection is packed with everything from coats and jackets to party dresses and we can't get enough of the butter-soft leather trousers. To give us a taster, Baukjen herself has dropped off her top 10 style tips for Spring Summer 2014 which you'll find in the gallery above...
