Spring (Coat) Watch: Olivia Palermo, Solange Knowles & Alexa Chung Lead The Pack

08 March 2013 by

Ladies, it's time to banish your dark winter outerwear and kick your spring wardrobe into action with a fabulous spring coat! After a month of shows in New York, London, Milan and Paris we've been surrounded by the world's style leaders looking incredible despite all this horrid winter weather and there's no doubt about it, keeping ahead of the fashion curve, even in the cold, is all down to a head-turning coat!

Olivia Palermo (who's fashion week wardrobes are always a highlight) anchored each of her looks around a standout coat (see the gallery above), from a super bright yellow Marchesa coat which Olivia donned in New York with jeans and a bejewelled clutch, to a black printed number OP was spotted in at London Fashion Week, Olivia let her coats take centre stage with simple accompanying outfits.

American Vogue Editor-In-Chief Anna Wintour was also sporting an impressive wardrobe of new season coats, our absolute favourite being the Prada flower coat which she seams to have snapped up in not one but two colours!

One step ahead is Victoria Beckham who has already been spotted in four autumn/winter '13 coats from her own collection since the show at New York Fashion Week! But our absolute favourite coat look so far is without doubt Solange Knowles' orange and lemon yellow ensemble, complete with matching accessories.
