If one were to label Nicole Richie’s style, the instant answer would be boho, right? Wrong. Well, it is today anyway. Miss Richie – the fashion designer behind House of Harlow and Winter Kate – along with her uber-stylist Cher Coulter have ditched her floaty maxi-gowns and hippy headbands in favour of a sleek monochrome tailoring, biker-boy leathers and minimalist styling. Gone are the kimonos and in are turned-up ‘80s boyfriend jeans, chunky gold jewellery and an array of Givenchy’s printed silks.
And, as you’ll know, her Miss Richie’s sleek bob continues to work hard – making each and every ensemble, from a cute matchy-matchy pink crop top and skirt from Simone Camille through to a white tuxedo jumpsuit – look even chicer.
From a slice of street swagger (well, you simply have to wear a beanie high and trousers low to record a joke rap video about gluten free pasta - check it out here) to bringing on the business sleek (v important when attending posh evening events), Nicole’s new wardrobe looks smokin’ hot.

Nicole’s grown-up new look really kicked into action last fashion week, when she graced the Paris front row in a series of sharp tailored look and ultra-pretty dresses from Valentino. Since then, her holiday wardrobe has delighted us – and introduced us to a very cool swimwear label, Made By Dawn.
Just last night Nicole managed to get through four glossy outfits – choosing for the 10th annual Style Awards held in New York: an embellished top and trousers from Antonio Berardi, a Marc Jacobs sequinned dress, a spaghetti-straped red gown from Azzaro and an Armani Prive jumpsuit. Before you think that’s OTT, she was the evening’s host.
