After what first began as a crazy catwalk trend, printed silk pyjamas have filtered their way down the fashion food chain and become one of the most wearable trends of the summer and continue to be favoured by A-listers through the winter too. Elizabeth Olsen was spotted this week attending a Hollywood dinner in none other than Brit High Street label Whistles. Wearing a matching green printed silk top and trousers, Elizabeth is just one of several starlets to have trialled this matchy matchy trend including style chameleon Rihanna, songstress Beyonce and actress Kate Hudson.
This isnt the easiest look to pull off in sub-zero temperatures, but whats great is that this trend isnt just restricted to trousers. Pairing a silk blouse with a skirt instead means you can layer up your outfit with some thick opaque tights.
